For those who think the U-M/Jordan thing doesn't matter

Here are quotes from Corley:

"Michigan is doing great [with me]. They got that Jordan thing, that was really sweet," Corley said through a big grin. "That's definitely big. That would be sweet, with Jordan cleats, and the shoes and everything. It's a big deal. They are doing real good right now."

Say all you want about the shallowness of kids and how we wouldn't want those that let a shoe deal affect their decision, but you might as well be putting your head in the sand. It's U-M we're talking about here, not U of Toledo. Michigan has the hot coach, it's a major university, and now they have the hot shoe deal. I think lots of recruiting decisions are made at the margin, and the Jordan shoe deal helps Michigan at the margin.

I don't know where Corley will wind up, but it's looking like a toss up.
