As many know we have stated that per capita Ft. Wayne produces more talent than probably any city in the Midwest.
Last night I spoke with the current 2017 player from Ft. Wayne that has scholarship offers, Mac Hippenhammer of Snider High School. He informed me that he already has 3 MAC ffers Toledo, Miami and Eastern. He also said he thought Cincy would be next to pull the trigger.
He did seem excited that I was contacting him from SpartanMag.com and said he was very interested in Michigan State, but at this point has had minimal contact thus far. He inidicated that he has not been to East Lansing yet. With that said. AWP (Athletes with Purpose) has a great relationship with Michigan State and if Hippenhammer takes full advantage of that program he will likely be on campus multple times over next 9 months.
So as of right now, not a lot of action from a Michigan State standpoint, but I have a feeling that things could heat up some this fall.I linked his HUDL highlight from his sophomore season below.

Keep in mind part of the reason thing have not heated up yet is due to MSU already having a commitment from Hunter Rison and in a strong position with Kahlee Hamler.
