I heard from a reliable individual that the chances of DW returning to the team are slim.
Furthermore:
- This is not Coach D's decision. Coach D wants him back.
- DW is one of the more popular players with both the staff and players.
- His action with the handgun was clearly a mistake but based on the background it is somewhat understandable though not excusable.
- This is all the President of MSU. You could beat someone to death with a baseball bat and in her mind you would be worthy of a second chance. You could use a firearm to save someone' life in self defense and in her mind because of the gun, you are the devil.
- The gang threat to DW and his family was legit and law enforcement advised the MSU admin.
- MKwill return with multiple incidents and accountability issues.
- DW with one act -- more than likely gone.
I rarely have information such as above. My information has been wrong before (Harbaugh going to UM after Coach Rodriguez).
I hope my guy is wrong. I would like DW back.
