I took off from Albuquerque and landed this morning in Phoenix Sky Harbor. I took the Uber over to the Marriott Residence Inn in Tempe, next to the Stadium. I walked into the hotel lobby and it was like the Scotty just beamed a division of Spartans into the dining room, the elevators and the hotel lobby. Everywhere you looked, there was Spartan green on every person in sight. I’m hearing numbers as low as 20,000 and as high as 27,000 for the game tonight. Frankly, I believe any estimate based on ticket sales from ASU, MSU and auction sites have to understate the total number of Spartans. I bought my ticket from StubHub. There is no way they know who I am, where I from or who I support. I live in Albuquerque. If they drill into credit card information, they could never know who I support. I believe we will be very pleasantly surprised tonight.
