- Both lines pretty much as advertised. DLine looks off the charts good, as expected. Malik McDowell...good Lord. He's at the border of being illegal, he looks so dominant physically. Yeah, it's Western but he's destroying them, so that's what a great player ought to do, right? OLine hasn't been quite that level but still a lot of nice work. Cook with plenty of time for the most part and some good lanes opened up for the backs.

- London looks like the clear cut #1 guy to me, based on an admittedly tiny sample. Just faster to the hole than the other guys. I thought Scott was good, though...as advertised, tough to bring down and good vision. Holmes was OK. Certainly good enough to get some carries but he'll be the #3 guy in short order IMO, assuming LJ can prove capable of protecting the passer.

- Connor's fine. People want to complain about him missing some people high... whatever, brah. He made some flat out pro throws in that half...the one to Price for the TD had serious NFL heat on it.

- Riley looks maybe a wee bit amped up to me, overrunning a couple of plays. Not believing that's going to be a consistent issue.

- I think Copeland and Cox have looked pretty solid on the corners. Edmonson got beat for the big pass play Western had and he might end up as the #5 guy before it's all said and done, so that play doesn't exactly put me in panic mode.

I think if we put a TD on them on the opening drive of the second half, we'll start to see some TOC and Terry which is A-OK by me.
