That no team has lit it up every week of the first half of the season. There sure is a lot of parity out there, which I believe is very good for college football. You have to hand it to Northwestern, Iowa and Michigan they along with OSU and Michigan State are where they want to be in the win column. This rash of injuries to MSU is really starting to have an affect on MSU and it's chances to stay atop the B1G this year. Every team has injuries, but my gosh, there is only so much depth out there. Do any of you think the "blue blood" programs will have the clout to get the NCAA to raise the eighty five scholarship limit so they can return to the days of old and hoard players to keep the other schools from developing the kind depth that say OSU and Alabama had in the 1970's? I hope not.
