Michigan State was the last school Buddin was able to visit before the shutdown.
MSU made up a lot of ground on that visit and cemented themselves in Buddins top group.
MSU has also made him a top priority and are in contact every day.
“Every coach on staff, they reach out a lot everyday,” Buddin said on Thursday. “(I) just got off the phone with the linebackers coach.”
Buddin was able to meet Ross Els, the new LB coach, on his visit and they have kept in touch.
“He’s a funny guy man we have a lot in common lol.”
Says the whole staff is “very cool and has great energy.” The new staff “absolutely” has improved his opinion of Michigan State compared to the previous.
Minnesota, Boston College and Florida State are three schools he wants to visit when he is able to take visits again.
Getting Buddin on campus before all this was very big for Michigan State. I think they severely improved their chances on that visit.
