Jim Harbaugh is set to undergo a heart procedure this offseason as well as a hip replacement surgery after his first season back in the NFL while coaching the Los Angeles Chargers.
Earlier in the season, Harbaugh was seen going into the blue medical tent, a pop-up treatment option for players who have suffered injuries on the field and rarely used for team staffers. It was later revealed that the head coach had an irregular heartbeat. An EKG showed that his heart had returned to normal rhythm, with him returning to the sideline just minutes later.
Harbaugh will undergo a heart ablation at some point "soon", something he has had twice in his life, including back when he was a player with the Chargers back in 1999, as well as 13 years later when coaching in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers.
