We were told this morning that Michigan State is is "good standing" with each of its remaining targets. Yesterday, we reported that MSU was "optimistic" about several transfer portal targets and a junior college prospect (offensive lineman Keyshawn Blackstock).

Texas A&M transfer defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye is expected to make his announcement today and the Spartans remain in a really good spot here. Things can always change with Miami (FL.) involved, but Nick Harris, a National Recruiting Analyst for Rivals who knows the state of Texas very well, predicts Adeleye will become a Spartan. Personally, I also feel good about MSU's chances with Adeleye

Others are reporting that Michigan State now has interest in Kentucky transfer offensive tackle Kiyaunta Goodwin. Of course, Goodwin chose the Wildcats over the Spartans in December of 2021. It was initially reported that MSU would not be pursuing Goodwin after he entered the transfer portal – and we were able to confirm that was MSU's original intent. We have been looking into the situation this morning and were told that MSU's interest level may have changed. Truth be told, it still seems like it is up in the air if MSU actually plans to go hard after Goodwin, if it's just preliminary interest, or if there is nothing there at all.

It is possible that the interest in Goodwin could influence Blackstock's decision, which is why things are being kept under wraps, but that is just is a guess. It is also certainly possible that Goodwin and Blackstock could both be added and play on different sides of the line, too, so it may not have an effect on Blackstock's choice at all. I do believe Blackstock is higher on the board and Michigan State remains as one of the favorites to land him. MSU also will be signing three-star tackle Stanton Ramil and four-star guard Cole Dellinger (barring any last minute changes) on Wednesday as well.

We do ask that you keep this information on the premium message boards and off of social media.

With the Early Signing Period opening tomorrow, expect a lot of movement one way or the other.
