Would it surprise anyone if Chip Kelly took Tony Lippett a round or two earlier than he is expected, just to be sure he has him and to use him as both a WR and DB?
Chip Kelly is trying his best to go against tradition in the NFL and prove he is smarter and his system/ideas will work.
In a league where cap flexibility is king, wouldn't getting a guy that can be your nickle back & your slot receiver (or 4th) be the ultimate in flexibility?
maximizing the 53 man roster by using guys in multiple positions would really change things around the league and it could start with Lippett.
