Hey, all! I've gathered some notes from Michigan State's second scrimmage of the spring, which was held today. As usual, the intel is fairly limited, but I was able to get some good nuggets from sources. And as usual, take this all with a grain as it is simply notes from an intra-squad scrimmage during spring ball.

-The defense played really well, but offense ended up winning the scored period, which was opposite of last week. The offense made the necessary plays to win in the end.
-That now means the defense and offense have each earned one win in the scored sessions through the first two scrimmages.
-One again, the intensity and competitiveness of the scrimmage was really high.
-Wide receiver Nick Marsh had an incredibly impressive catch on a 50/50 ball win, or a "99/1" ball with him as one source said.
-Wide receiver Evan Boyd was also a standout performer.
-Alante Brown, Justin Denson, Rod Bullard, Omari Kelly, Nick Marsh and Chrishon McCray have all been working as punt returners. Those same players, in addition to running backs Jace Clarizio and Elijah Tau-Tolliver have been working as kick returners.
-Speaking of Denson, I am told he had two very nice plays on the ball, but couldn't quite complete the interceptions.
-As expected, my understanding is that Michigan State will have its final scrimmage on April 19, which is the 15th and final practice of spring ball.

We will add more thoughts and notes if we receive additional intel.
