From a PGA member and he said he is pretty connected. Schauffele, Rose, Scheffler and Morikawa are the names being mentioned in his PGA circles. And here is an interesting take---he said, if you resign from the Tour PGA, then you also resign from the PGA--they are one org. So you cannot play in the PGA. Again, this is from a PGA current member.
