Mazi Smith was doing over 50 in a 25 mph zone

MLive reports that Smith was stopped by police for driving over 50mph in a 25 mph zone. Additionally regarding the weapon:

As the officer approached the car, Smith moved to put his Glock 19 handgun behind his seat. He had two magazines holding 15 and 30 bullets in his pocket, while his handgun was loaded with 24 rounds.

The fact Jim Harbaugh can sit there with a straight face and defend Smith's antics in the epidemic of pedestrian fatalities and car crashes caused by speeding over the past few years is absolutely stunning in its outrageousness.
