Did a similar post going into the UM game last year. At that point, Mel was 7-0 all time at MSU when the team rushed for over 100 yards. I said at that time "UM is currently giving up 116.71 rushing yards/game. Although we were able to squeak by Nebraska and Indiana, I don't think 100 yards rushing is going to get the job done next Saturday. I think if MSU gets to 125 yards, we will have a chance. Anything over 150 yards and you have to like our odds." MSU (K9) ran for 199 yards and we know the rest.
I was curious to keep running this stat to see if it still held up and the answer is yes.
