The Michigan State men’s basketball team had its seven-game winning streak snapped in Champaign on Friday night, losing 75-66 to Illinois.

This was an odd game. The Spartans did not make a single 3-pointer in game, snapping a streak of 56-straight game with at least one shot made from behind the arc. It was the first time MSU did not make a 3-pointer in a contest since a road loss at Michigan in 2021.
