The Michigan State camps this summer have focused on younger players, the '23s, the '24s. There are some interesting ones out there today.

Kaden Strayhorn, a 2025 DT with Power Five offers from Detroit Catholic Central, camped today, and worked with Ron Burton for the first time. Scottie Hazelton was also giving him some attention.

Kaden is the son of former MSU All-Big Ten center and MSU radio analyst Jason Strayhorn. Jason was at the camp as well. I spoke with him for awhile, but not about recruiting. Always good to see Jason. Been knowing him since he was an Michigan State sophomore.

QB CJ Carr, a 2024 from Saline, and the grandson of Lloyd Carr, camped today. Lot of refined talent in that arm. Interesting future for him.

DE AJ Hoffler, a 2023 from Woodward Academy in Georgia, opened some eyes as an edge man with some body strength. That's a name to remember.

CB Braylon Johnson, a 2023 from Richmond, Va./Highland Springs High School, participated in the camp. Quick hips and fast calves on that guy. Mel Tucker did quite a bit of one-on-one coaching with him. Johnson has an Michigan State offer.
