FOOTBALL Michigan State to promote special teams analyst Joe Begnal to assistant special teams coordinator

Michigan State is not quite done promoting from within on its coaching staff yet.

Special teams analyst Joe Begnal will now be assistant special teams coordinator, sources tell @SpartansRivals.

Keith Bhonapha and Chad Wilt will continue as co-special teams coordinators.

Begnal primarily worked with the specialists in 2024 (kickers, punters and long snappers) and will now have some added responsibility.
