that MT needs to replace his DC or before season's end. Many are also starting to echo similar thoughts about the OC, Safety's and ST coach. If things continue to spiral, as expected, there likely will be changes at season's end.

If this is the case, isn't the real question can MT properly assemble a staff? MT claims he developed and learned more under Saban than any other of the HC's he's worked with throughout his career. Saban is probably the greatest staff assembler in the history of the sport. There's simply too many of his disciples that have gone on to be great head coaches in their own right. We're gonna find out if Tucker has the same eye for coaching talent as the Nicktator.

If he does need to broom several of his coaches (to go along with the corners and DL coach he fired last year), it is a MAJOR CONCERN. Not too many GM's in pro sports get the chance to hire a 3rd coach/manager after the first two failed. That is, afterall, one of the biggest requirements of a GM...to hire the right leader of the team. In that vein, Tucker needs to get these next hires RIGHT!

If we're being objective, based on who he hired on his original staff 3 years ago, who besides Hawkins has stood out as a "great hire"??? Kap comes with a lot of hype but I gotta see more than we've seen thus far. Hazelton...he's a joke. JJ...did K9 mask some of his issues? Els...who knows? Bad placekickers can make special teams look awful.

All I'm sayin'...Tucker has WHIFFED with a lot of his own hires. If he doesn't get these right, he's not the right guy to lead the program. Here's hoping he's ready for the challenge!
