Michigan State will travel to Los Angeles to play USC and UCLA before returning home to play Oregon and Indiana. There is truly no easy game left as the Spartans also still have Illinois, Purdue, Maryland, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan (twice) still on the schedule.
With all those tough games still to play, there are still some questions regarding the ceiling of the team, but what the Spartans have accomplished so far proves that this team can take care of business, where other teams have tripped up.
“I don’t want to diminish what we’ve done either because we’ve done some incredible things,” Tom Izzo said. “We have stayed focused. Most of those games we’ve won, sometimes we had little let downs, but we won pretty decisively and we’ve won it with our defense.”
