I had a bad feeling about today's game, and that feeling became a reality. I thought MSU looked a step slow in all phases of the game (almost like they had jetlag) and just never really got into synch. Now, Tuesday night's game at UCLA is even more critical if the Spartans want to stay ahead of the pack. The last two MSU teams that started 9-0 (in 2010 and in 2019) lost three games in a row after the 9-0 start. With at UCLA and vs. Oregon on the schedule, that is now very much a possibility. The good news is that both of those teams made the Final Four. The other good news is that now Izzo has a great chance to tie and/or break Bobby's Knight's record in Breslin. That's not all bad.

Here is my full recap.
