MSU players and coaches react to the passing of Mike Leach

It was announced that Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach passed away this morning due to complications related to a heart condition. Leach was 61 years old. Here is head coach Mel Tucker's reaction to the news.



MSU linebacker Aaron Brule played for Leach at Mississippi State for two seasons. Here was his reaction.



MSU offensive lineman Brian Greene was recruited to Washington State by Leach and his staff. He played for Leach in 2017, 2018 and 2019 before Leach left for Mississippi State before the 2020 season began. Here was Greene's reaction to the news.



Leach, along with Hal Mumme, was the mastermind behind the Air Raid offense. His lasting coaching legacy will be felt for a long time. Leach's coaching tree includes names like Baylor head coach Dave Aranda, West Virginia head coach Neal Brown, TCU head coach Sonny Dykes, Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel, Houston head coach Dana Holgorsen, Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury, USC head coach Lincoln Riley and more.
