It looks like I will be in EL this weekend for the Rutgers game. And then back the following weekend for the Villanova and Indiana games. I was originally going to go to Chicago for biz and then the Champions Classic but is becoming a bit more challenging to make work than I hoped.
So, I'm thinking of staying in Michigan from Sunday - Thursday before going back to EL. My preference is to try the westside of the state along the lake, but I'm not too sure what to expect in mid November.
I will plan to work for 3/4 of the days but then want to get outdoors, our for dinner's, drinks any semblance of social life, etc. during the week. I was thinking of splitting the time between Traverse City and at least one other destination. I'm not budget constrained, but I'm short on recent history and idea's for this time of year.
Any thoughts on where to consider going (and recommendations on where to stay) would be greatly appreciated.
