Lots of sword and sorcery to stream in the next couple of months.

HBO has a new Game of Thrones series starting on August 21,

The reign of House Targaryen begins. House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is coming to HBO and HBO Max on August 21. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.

Prime has a new Lord of the Rings series called the Rings of Power starting on Sept. 2.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power release date has been confirmed by Amazon. The new series will launch on September 2, 2022, on Amazon Prime. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien's pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness.

I can not wait for either of these.
