2009, Heisman winner Mark Ingram from Alabama, originally from Flint, Michigan, was also on the ballot.
Flozell Adams and Darryl Rogers are also up for nomination.
It includes 77 players, nine coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 101 players, and 34 coaches from the divisional ranks, including the Championship Subdivision and Divisions II and III.
