So, my wife and I will be taking a trip to northern michigan soon. part of the trip will be in the up where we will be playing greywalls (sweetgrass next year). Was going to have her get us on True North, but she wants to just play without having to work. If she asked, she would have to tweet and/or write about the experience/meet the pro/etc. So, that is out this year, unless someone here has a hookup (wink, wink).
Anyone have other northern MI courses that are really nice, fun, but not too expensive? Saw Boyne Highlands Donald Ross memorial looked really fun. Looked at Garland but not too sure about them.
Have already played Bay Harbor, Forest Dunes, and Arcadia. Liked Bay Harbor and Forest the best out of those. I enjoy fun layouts, not a big links fans. Love lakes, creeks, rivers, scenery, holes that arent just straight, etc. Looking for reasonably priced (60-70 or lower if possible).
Thanks for the suggestions!
