1. We won the game despite some uncomfortable performances (or should I say unmet expectations?) - all of the team's goals for the season are still in reach.
2. A lot players played. Some not so well. Some pretty well.
3. Almost a no-win situation playing a good team in arguably Western's biggest game ever on their turf with the Oregon game lurking next week.
4. Would you feel better beating Youngstown 49-0? I'll take this result and the focus it'll bring in practice from the players and staff for the next seven days than an an ego bloating scrimmage against a lessor foe.
5. Adversity - it's what Dantonio has built this program on overcoming. It's here again.
6. Opportunity - Nothing like having Oregon and the attention of the country on you. Win and you'll forget this one...lose, and well many on here won't be able to handle the meltdown and then the ensuing abandonment of the team will be on display (a few of you already jumped ship tonight).
