Very cool article about MSU and the segregation issues facing young blacks men in Texas in the 60's. Film giving a back story about how Gene Washington ended up being recruited sight unseen by Duffy at the recommendation of then Spartan commit Bubba Smith. The creator of this film is none other than the daughter of Gene Washington, Maya Washington....... She says MSU holds a special place in her heart for changing her fathers life and hers as well!
