Mumford was a guy that I had heard was planning on camping at Michigan State at one point, but he did not make it.
He did camp at Ohio State this summer and several OSU sources informed me that he not only did well, but he was easily better that Honigford (who eventually committed to UM).
Mumford was at OSU last weekend for the Nebraska game, but my OSU sources would be "very surprised" if the Buckeyes have room, let alone offer him. That might be why he is visiting MSU this weekend as he recognizes the fact that OSU may not come through.
Mumford misses most of his senior year due to a transfer issue, but he was able to play the last few games this fall and you can see his film below. Mumford is a big-bodied type in the mold of a Roland Martin type.
