OLYMPIC MEDALS: BREAKDOWN BY UNIVERSITY
The Big Ten racked up 98 medals in Paris. MSU was the only school without a medal, according to the Big Ten.
NOTE: UCLA/USC: 2 (Two gold for Rai Benjamin; his last school was USC, and his previous school was UCLA, this would bump
USC to tie Penn State).
Ironically, two schools that few conferences wanted in football, Stanford and the Cal Bears, had the most medals of any school.
1. Stanford: 39 Medals ( Twelve Gold, fourteen silver, thirteen bronze)
2. Cal Bears: 23 Medals ( Five gold, ten silver, eight bronze).

- Iowa: 4 (Two silver, two bronze)

- Michigan: 9 (One gold, three silver, five bronze)

- Nebraska: 3 (Three silver)
- Northwestern: 1 (One bronze)
