Good grief has any team been more snake bit than the Tigers? Zimmerman on DL again, Fulmer out for season, now Tyson Ross out for ???? Then they bring up Soto???, Carpenter who gets bombed. I know there are reasons, but Casey Mize was said to be, basically, big league ready when they drafted him. He has been unhittable in A and AA. Bring the kid up and see what he's got. Besides they have bunch of 1st round arms doing pretty well (Burrows, Faedo). Certainly they can do no worse than Carpenter.
