1. What will be the ratio of Spartan fans to Bronco fans on Friday night?
I am thinking 60/40 in favor of the good guys.
2. How do you measure success in a game like this?
I think you are looking first for cohesion and a sense the team is on the same page, with unforced errors kept to a minimum. Next, you hope the score allows the staff to play a lot of the bench, including Tyler O'Connor and Damion Terry. Finally, you want to come out of a game like this with few, if any injuries.
3. Is playing at a MAC school embarrassing?
No. I think that debate was settled when MSU went to CMU a few years ago. I think it is good for the State in many ways. I would like to see MSU play CMU or WMU or EMU at Ford Field in the future, if the game has to be away from Spartan Stadium.
4. Does anything concern you about this Game?
Injuries are always a concern, but, I am worried about the Spartan Kicking Game. I am not sure Michael Geiger is fully healed from his injury and Jake Hartsbarger will be wildly inconsistent, I fear. I predict we will be talking about the kickers here this weekend. I am optimistic that it will get noticeably better, but, we could be in for a rough start.

MSU 36 Western 17. MSU rushes for 175 yards and throws for 275. Very sloppy Game in the second half, as Dantonio empties his bench and Western makes the final score closer than it should be. Western blocks an MSU punt and MSU misses a FG attempt.
