I'm not sure what ESPN's FPI stands for, but these were the percentage chances of winning for Michigan State in its regular season games this year:

(I put the Air Force and CMU games in parentheses because I think they must have been typos. These percentages were shown as a graphic on ESPN's College Football Live show today)

at Western Michigan 82 pct
Oregon 51 pct
(Air Force 97 pct)
(Central Michigan 55 pct)
Purdue 92 pct
at Rutgers 87 pct
at Michigan 63 pct
Indiana 93 pct
at Nebraska 69 pct
Maryland 94 pct
at Ohio State 27 pct
Penn State 78 pct

The most interesting figures (other than the CMU and Air Force percentages)? I would say the idea that MSU, according to the ESPN FPI, is more likely to lost at Western Michigan than at Rutgers.

And MSU is only 4 pct points more likely to beat Penn State than WMU.

I don't necessarily disagree with those figures. WMU is going to be a nice little test.
