So, 24-3 over two seasons = 5 draft picks, anyone else surprised?

(This is not meant to be derisive towards the program, exactly the opposite)

It's not like Dantonio's recent success has been built on some once-in-a-lifetime collection of talent. Quite a few top notch college performers like Lippett or Max Bullough have been drafted late or not at all... the NFL seems to be confirming that Coach D has a system that gets the absolute most out of each player.

Again, not a knock at all on our guys or the program, it's just that MSU has been all-time good the past two years (back-to-back top-5 AP finishes are extremely rare in the B1G). Based on the team success, I would have figured there would have been 10+ players picked and a cluster of 1st/2nd rounders.
