You can only survive so long with a short bench and two key players out. When we hit shots like we did against KY, Oregon and Portland it covers a lot of sins. We shot poorly (maybe our worst all year) and ran into a team that got hot from deep. Shots off due to tired legs? Maybe. But this was a bad match up for us on a number of fronts - our bigs had to guard on the perimeter which was a challenge for them. ND did a good job of shutting down passing lanes which caused a lot of late shot clock situations leading to bad shots. Our inside game was non existent and the bench tallied a whopping six points.

Turnovers were actually not bad with 7 for the game. 9-30 shooting from Hoggard, Walker and Brooks isn’t going to win many games. Ironically we shot the exact same number of shots that ND did.

Still a long way of knowing what we have especially with the injuries. I am confident we bounce back though - CTI has 3 days of prep for NW and the Bres will be rocking.
