The NFL continues to be a big TV ratings winner for the 2021-22 season with very strong ratings for the Divisional Playoff Games.

The 49ers-Packers NFC Divisional playoff game last Saturday night on FOX drew 36.9 million viewers. It was the most-watched TV show on a Saturday night in 28 years, dating back to the 1994 Winter Olympics.

The Chiefs-Bills AFC Divisional playoff game last Sunday night landed 42.7 million viewers on CBS. It’s the best NFL Divisional playoff game in five years and topped off at 51.7 million viewers toward the dramatic end of the game.

The Bengals-Titans AFC Divisional playoff game last Saturday afternoon on CBS averaged 30.752 million viewers, up 13 percent versus last year’s comparable game window (Packers-Rams, 27.120) and was the most-watched divisional playoff game in a Saturday afternoon game window on any network in six years. The Bengals-Titans viewership topped off at 38.359 million viewers.

The Rams-Bucs NFC Divisional playoff game last Sunday afternoon drew 38.1 million viewers on NBC.

Can the momentum continue for the AFC and NFC Championship Games ?
