UM spring preview on LBs on Rivals...Marcus Ray indicating that UM will go with 3-4 75% of the time under Durkin this year.
This sort of surprised me as I've always felt that in the BT the 3 man DL doesn't give you enough girth in the run game, plus I thought Comp noted they have more depth on their DL.
Other thing I noticed is all those all star LB recruits are already juniors and seniors this year and haven't done much to this point with their eligibility running out. Just seemed like yesterday when UM was lauding all these guys and recruitniks were talking up Jenkins Stone, Ross, McCray, Gedeon, etc.
UM's recruiting on D the last 2 yrs has been very light as well.
