EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State track & field heads west this week for a trio of meets in California. The Spartans will compete at the Mt. SAC Relays, Pacific Coast Invitational and Beach Invitational from Wednesday, April 12 to Saturday, April 15.

Live results for all three meets will be available on MSUSpartans.com.

The Spartans kick off the week with the first day of the decathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays on Wednesday. A trio of Spartans on the men's side will compete over the two-day event, led by seniors Ryan Talbot and Heath Baldwin, who will be joined by sophomore Dylan Terryberry. Graduate students Trevor Stephenson and Michael Davenport will compete in the pole vault later in the week.

The remainder MSU's jumps, sprints and throws contingents will compete in the Pacific Coast and Beach Invitationals from Thursday, April 13 to Saturday, April 15. Both meets will be hosted at Long Beach State's Jack Rose Track.

MSU enters the weekend after a three-day competition at the Duke Invitational last week. Despite weather delays and cancellations to many of the meet's events, the Spartans recorded two top-five finishes in the men's track events, one top-five women's track event finish, five top-five men's field event finishes and three top-five women's field event honors.

The Spartans travel to Bloomington, Indiana next week to compete in the Indiana Relays, scheduled for April 21 and 22.
