College football needs to get rid of the targeting and mandatory ejection from the game. I understand the targeting rules, and the game needs to get rid of the big helmet to helmet hits. My issue is with ejection, why can't it be treated as un-sportsmanlike penalty. You only get ejected, if you do it twice in one game. Only sport that I can think of currently, where one penalty gets you ejected from the game immediately and possibly part of the next game. You can see from this weekend's games, that targeting it going to get called a lot especially if you put your head down. Hell they called it on a block last night on Louisville.
