All 5 of MSU’s starters will be (at least) 22 years old. Mady turns 22 next month.
That’s a LOT of BBall that these guys have played. Not so good for the Pro ranks that value youth and potential above almost everything else. But GREAT for a college team that when four out of the five starters were very talented 4 star recruits, that have stuck it out, that have been through the wars…and are now reaping the results of what their blood, sweat and tears have sown.
I always remember and fall back on one of Jud’s famous phrases, ‘It’s not how good you are…it’s how good you play’. And right now at least…we’re playing like we’re THAT *good*.
