Scheduling non conference games always leads to interesting discussions. The data shows that the P5 schools nearly always win these match ups. Last year P5 vs Group of 5 games resulted in P5 winning 79% of the time. Against FCS “competition“ the winning percentage was 92%. This season is off to a better start. 25 - 1 against G5 teams (96%) and 23 - 0 against the FCS. I don’t care if you’re in favor off easy non con schedules or not. I just wish the CFP Committee would penalize teams for scheduling G5 and FCS schools.
