Also, Connor Cook shed some light on Montae Nicholson's first interception at last Friday's scrimmage. Cook said he hadn't seen Nicholson make a play quite like that before. "I thought to myself, 'okay, we have another player there now.'" Cooks said Nicholson reminded him of Kurtis Drummond with the way he buzzed the sideline and undercut the route.
Also, Cook said he is working to gain a rapport with Monty Madaris and AJ Cook. Those guys are getting more work with Burbridge out. And we continue to hear that DeAnthony Arnett is making plays. We hear Arnett is getting reps with the ones.
