RECRUITING Transfer portal names to watch ahead of the Early Signing Period

Michigan State sources tell us they are feeling "optimistic" about the following transfer portal/junior college prospects. Nothing is done yet and some may wait until the Early Signing Period to announce, while some may end up signing elsewhere, but MSU is in a good spot with these targets.

• Reggie Pearson Jr. defensive back, Texas Tech (a Michigan native)
• Tunmise Adeleye, defensive lineman, Texas A&M (visited Dec. 9-Dec. 11. He could be announcing soon. He is choosing between MSU, California and Miami)
• Jarrett Jackson, defensive lineman, Florida State (visited MSU this past weekend, Dec. 16-Dec. 18)

Junior College:

• Keyshawn Blackstock, offensive lineman, Coffeyville Community College (one of the top JUCO prospects, visited Dec. 9-Dec. 11).

There are other names to keep an eye on, too, but these are the ones that I heard about specifically.
