While it was always way overblown to begin with, the mystique that they have continually tried to manufacture is gone. With as much hype as the newest Savior received by the media the cache is just not there. Times change and what we are seeing is not cyclical, in my opinion. What we are witnessing is secular in nature and our rival in AA has nowhere near the recruiting pull they had 20 years ago. Of course they will recruit 'ok', but the idea that they get the pick of the litter is just not reality anymore. What has been revealed by all this is how weak the foundation really was in AA and how it was propped up for a long time with built in advantages that are long gone....Go Green!
