I have always liked Minnesota. My Grandfather played one season of football there in the Fall of 1922 before his father died over Christmas and he moved back to help support the family. His mother died a few months later. Crazy times.
Minnesota had a great year last season and I would be a "buy" on their stock moving forward. Minnesota had a great bowl win over Auburn and a home win vs. PSU. After that, their wins were against cupcakes. SDSU is good, but is an FCS team. Their other cross over games were Maryland and Rutgers.
Take away PSU and Auburn, and their wins came against teams that finished 34-64. The only team that had a winning record was GA Southern at 7-6.
