I have been an avid MSU fan since about the age of 7. Lived within about 2 miles from campus my entire life, and graduated from there. Started going to games back in the Terry Furlow and Eric Allen days. I have gone through all the tough years, and was at the airport to welcome back the 79 Spartans ater they won the NCAA championship. Was in the second row in Indianapolis when they beat Notre Dame that year. In all that time of loving the Spartans, I never thought it could get anywhere near this good. Not even close. But to make it even better the joker down the road provides the ultimate juxtaposition. And after years of Tim Staudt ragging on UM as a softball school, Tom Crawford was grinning from ear to ear because the sotball team rocks. And ater all that, in todays LSJ Mark Hollis is answering for the poor perormance o the softball team. On top of this, we are looking great for the number one defensive line recruiting class this year to go on top of the number one rated DL class last year. And then we got Drammond our embassador of Quan (See Jerry Maguire) playing in the NBA championship. Now, combine this with an incredible reputation for doing everything the right way and i just can not get any better. How I love being a Spartan!
