We know UGA and UM are in and presumably TCU if they don’t crap the bed. They’d be 1, 2, and 3 if they all hold serve in the title games.
But would you rather see USC or OSU get in at 4?
For OSU, there’s a high likelihood they’d have Henderson and ninja back if they were playing in 5 weeks. That doesn’t change everything but they were both heisman candidates going into the year so safe to say they wouldn’t hurt to have out there.
USC has underwhelmed me all year until this weekend. Their D is porous.
What’d be interesting is if UGA lost in the SEC title game and USC lost as well. UM would go to #1, TCU 2, UGA to 3, and presumably OSU 4. A rematch in the semis would be so interesting. I know they don’t like back to back games but the B10 title game is before it and I don’t see how else you could stack them. If you want that rematch you can’t bank on both winning to get to the finals.
My priority is seeing UM lose which I fear is unlikely outside of UGA, who isn’t as dominant as last year. Definitely a real chance UM wins it if they play their best game. I just threw up typing that.
