I knew they were having one helluva baseball season, but consider this:
-They've won 26 straight games. Ridiculous in baseball, at any level.
-The last game they lost? March 29, in East Lansing (5-2)
-In their 26 straight wins, only five have been one run games. They've been blowing people out.
*Just how good is this Illinois team? Seems like they are much better than the IU squad that made some CWS noise recently, but I've not watched Illinois this year, so just a hunch.
Well, if our Spartans can beat Maryland, Illinois will be playing the last team to beat them...
