Stayed at UW team hotel. Kids got to see the team come downstairs this morning. They couldn’t believe how big they were.

First time on campus in 12 years.

Gorgeous day. Great seats.

Played catch with my 7 year-old son in front of Shaw Hall right outside my old room.

Kids into the game the entire way, waving their towels every big play.

Crowd was excellent.

And my son thinks I’m a genius because I told him Thorne should throw to Reed after the safety cheated down on the last play.

Who cares about the record. This is the stuff it’s all about.

I still think 6-6 would be solid with what MSU has to endure this year. Get there, get bowl bid and go from there.

I've had more fun with those I've eventually met. I'll make you the best sandwich maker omelet ever. And you can come on here and say you made Marlow cook for you, lol. I'm very critical of the coaching staff and this team, BUT they seem to always give maximum effort. No matter the circumstances, they play hard and that is admirable. Today was a great win and great day to be a Spartan. Proud of these guys! Go Green! Let's get to 6 and 6 and a bowl game!

Seriously the big third down pass reception to Reed with 1:39 remaining in the game came with 0:00 left on the play clock. We did not get the ball snapped in time, and apparently the refs, the announcers, and everyone else missed it. If that penalty was called, we would have had third and long and may have had to give the ball back to Wisconsin for the last minute and a half with two time outs left.

Not sure if you noticed, but the victory fires a little hotter and the buzz feels a little better compared to the last 4 weeks…a collective sign of relief?

The defense held UW under 300 yards of offense. Raise your hand if you saw that coming.

People are going to miss him when he is gone. He is all over the place and plays through anything. Does he make mistakes, yes. But, he makes far more plays.

My friend was on a plane with him. He said he will be back next year. Great news. Hopeful

After the game I noticed 7 Wisconsin motor coaches at the north end of the stadium. Did they really bus here? Budget problems at Wisky?

I keep hoping things are going to start clicking, maybe it was taking the kids a little longer to catch on to our schemes? But nothing is changing, nothing is being tweeked - what the hell is this coaching staff doing?

This is close to JLS bad. There is a talent shortage but don't tell me Illinois has a better roster than MSU. This is sad

I don't care what some of CMT bashers say tonight. We have alot injuries, guys playing with one wheel, freshman playing.... the game was coached/managed with all those issues and came out with a win. I trust Tuck and hope we can keep our recruits....
