Northwestern scored a huge recruiting win over Michigan State landing Priebe. He was the highest remaining OL target on the coaches board.
On his decision Priebe told me this.
"It came down to the quality of the people there, and where I believed I fit in the best academically and athletically, loved coach Fitz and coach Anderson, and it felt like home."
There's no way to sugarcoat it, this is a huge miss that shouldn't have happened. Michigan State coaches were on him early and have led almost the entire recruitment.
In my opinion they needed to put this one to bed earlier, the longer it went on, the more other programs had a chance to get him.
With the Wildcats winning the the West division, having beautiful new facilities and of course the great education, they have a lot to sell right now.
