I thought they were dead in the water after the ND game, but...
-Clemson has 1 loss to a top 20 ND team on the road.
-They have 2 wins over currently ranked teams in FSU (23), NC St (16) plus a chance to beat what will likely be a ranked UNC team in the ACC final. They also beat Syracuse who could end up ranked, but down to FSU right now.
They certainly have NOT passed the eye test, but if they win out (Miami & South Carolina both at home plus ACC title game) they will be 12-1 with 3 ranked wins, 1 loss to a top 20 team, and a conference title.
Don't count out the ACC yet. They need TCU to go down and all of Oregon, USC, or UCLA to end with 2 losses (currently all only have 1). I didn't think this before, but if there were one at-large spot after the B10 winner and 2 SEC teams (assuming B12 & Pac12 does not have a 1 loss champ) then I think Clemson would have to get the nod over UM if UM considering their schedule is no worse than UM's and they'd have the conf title.
